• The Raiders begin saving up to purchase a ship that will come to be known as a Raider mothership.

• Construction of Babylon 5 is completed and the station becomes fully operational. ^[1]

• The Io Transfer point Jumpgate is destroyed by a terrorist bombing. A transport containing over 500 passengers was entering the gate when it exploded, destroying the transport and killing all aboard. Mr. Morden's wife and their daughter Sarah are among the dead.^[2][3]
• ISN broadcasts video of a grief stricken Morden fighting off a horde of reporters.^[3]

• John Sheridan is given command of the EAS Agamemnon. ^[2]

• EAS Agamemnon docks at Station Prime.^[2]

• Earth Science Vessel Icarus departs Station Prime for Alpha Omega III.^[2] Soon thereafter it is presumed destroyed in space with no survivors.

• Ambassador Kosh departs the Vorlon Homeworld and communicates with Lieutenant Commander Laurel Takashima aboard Babylon 5 via Stellar Comm, audio only, to inform her he is en route. ^[4]
