Arisia III is a class-4 world and the home of the orbital Arisia Mining Colony.^[1][2]

Arisia is bleak, violent and uninhabitable world on the edge of known space. The planet is two-thirds the size of Earth though with 2Gs of gravity it is three times as dense. The atmosphere is radioactive and extremely poisonous with scorching winds. The planet is also geologically unstable with a high degree of tectonic and volcanic activity. The only attractive feature of this little hell world is it's abundance of Quantium 40.

In August 2259, the Arisia Mining Colony was destroyed by Shadow forces. Marcus Cole was the only survivor, having crashed on the surface of Arisia III during the attack.

By the end of 2261 work had begun of rebuilding the orbital mining facilities.^[3]
