Clive Revill (born 18 April 1930, Wellington, New Zealand) is a New Zealand actor. He has appeared in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back as the original voice of Emperor Palpatine. His voice was replaced with Ian McDiarmid in the 2004 DVD release.
