Desa Alexander

Desa Alexander, also known as Blood, was a rogue telepath who turned herself in to the Psi Corps. Prior to this, she lived with Monkey, Kevin Vacit (at the time called "kid") and several other rogues.

She appeared in the novel Dark Genesis.

Desa Alexander is the mother of Brenna Alexander, the father being Monkey. Desa died when Brenna was only fifteen years old. All women in her bloodline seem to have red hair and be telepaths.

Blood was a rogue telepath who tired of running, and became a dedicated and sometimes brutal enforcer for the Psi Corps.

Desa Alexander was shot and killed by Monkey during a Senate hearing to convict Desa on crimes of abusing her telepathic powers in the field. Monkey's shot was for Senator Lai, who was leading the investigation, Blood had detected Monkey's presence in the audience and when she felt that he was about to attack she jumped from her seat to save the Senator. As she was dieing Blood latched on to Monkey's mind and attempted to pull him into her death. As she died her grip loosened and Monkey was barely able to escape.
