Lauren Ashley was a Human Telepath and member of the Psi Corps.
In 2262, Ashley was an intern with the Psi Cops. She was with Alfred Bester and fellow intern Chen Hikaru on assignment to Babylon 5 in 2262 to track down Jonathan Harris. She showed a level of admiration and romantic interest for Bester, though he politely declined to reciprocate.
Ashley was tasked by Bester to investigate what happened at Psi Corps headquarters. She discovered that Harris reacted badly during his last training session, when he jumped in pain and shouted "He said let it go!" to his roommate just before he was murdered.
Jonathan Harris and his mundane associate, Bryce, were captured and taken into Psi Corps custody.
When in hyperspace, Lauren offered to kill the mundane and ejected him into space, which Bester recognized as an important stage in her training.[1]
