Lorraine Shields is an actress.
In the episode she was recruited by Marcus Cole to prepare a special breakfast for Susan Ivanova as a thank you for her help in acquiring an Identicard. She prepared fresh eggs and bacon, likely acquired by Marcus, despite the difficulties in getting such things to the station. Because of the unique arrangements she presented the meal directly to Ivanova as she sat with the other command staff in the mess hall. She whispered something into Ivanova's ear and placed a notefrom Marcus onto the platter.
