Marlette was a Starfury pilot assigned to Babylon 5's Delta Squadron.

On one occasion, Marlette was lost in hyperspace for fifteen minutes when his instrumentation failed. He was able to bring it back on-line and return to normal space, although far from his original destination. In 2261, Marlette was with Commander Ivanova's Starfury Squadron when they discovered the Thirdspace artifact in hyperspace, while returning to the station following a successful ambush of raider forces. When the artifact turned out to be a jumpgate to another universe inhabited by a hostile species, Marlette and Delta Squadron tried to destroy it, but were killed by the Thirdspace Aliens first wave of incoming Thirdspace fighter vanguads that were in defensive formation around the Artifact.
