Paul Williams (b. 19 September 1940, Bennington, Nebraska, USA) is an American actor, songwriter, and composer. He is best known for his work as a songwriter over the years writing songs that have been recorded by artists like: Three Dog Night, Elvis Presley, and Frank Sinatra. He has also written music scores for movies like: The Muppet Movie, The Secret of NIMH, and Rocky IV. As an actor he is best known for playing Little Enos in the Smokey and the Bandit movies, Professor Virgil in the Battle for the Planet of the Apes, the voice of Garen in The Pirates of the Dark Water, the voice of the The Penguin in Batman: The Animated Series, and a part in Star Trek: Voyager.
