Extinct?[]

How was the extinction possible? Were all their space vessels destroyed after the war? And how was it made sure that they didn't build new ships? --Exodianecross (talk) 02:52, March 14, 2016 (UTC)

It's not really clear, at least form available canon sources. It seem to be that the entire race of Dilgar were forced back into their home solar system. If any survived, perhaps those colonies simply didn't make it without support from their now destroyed homeworld. Radagast83 (talk) 02:36, April 10, 2016 (UTC)

My understanding is that the Dilgar didn't have a major interstellar presence, with the majority of their species living on Omelos. As for the events after the invasion of 2230-2232, again it's my understanding that they were all driven back to their homeworld, their Q40 supply confiscated in reparation, automated defense platforms placed in orbit to prevent them leaving and the gate in their system shut down. They were effectively isolated from the rest of the galaxy.B5historyman (talk) 06:35, July 3, 2019 (UTC)

I have a strong suspicion that the supernova event in the Dilgar main system was the doing of either the Vorlons or the Shadows. Gelion the Fan 22:53, December 13, 2022 (UTC)

Unlikely it was the Shadows as they were still sleeping, or the Vorlons as they showed little interest in the affairs of others and weren't at large in the galaxyB5historyman (talk) 11:32, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
