Section History - The First Born:
"Before even most of the First Ones were young,..."
I think this should be "Before when even most of the First Ones were young,..."
"..., they found even younger races and became their teachers and guardians."
Maybe it's me, but this line reads a bit weird. Found even younger races? As in, these ancient races were very young compared to the First Born, but they found even younger races? 220.127.116.11 05:59, October 6, 2017 (UTC)
As I was watching, season 2 episode 16 "In the Shadow of Z'ha'dum", I got confused by what D'elenn was saying to Sheridan about the ancient races. I checked here and although I understand, I can't really accept it yet. Maybe I'm overthinking, but here it goes.
The First Ones were a group of ancient races, the oldest of which were the First Born.
The article "First Born" talks about Lorien and his kind exploring the galaxy for untold aeons, encountering younger races.
- Untold (immeasurable number)
- Aeons (immeasurable amount of years)
This translates as an astronomical amount of years. And although it doesn't say exactly when the First Born encountered these younger races, it's possible they're billions of years younger, who in turn are billions of years older then the youngest races.
The First Born taught younger races, now called ancient, which in turn are teaching the current (youngest) races.
So how can they be called First Ones when they were possibly a billion years younger than the First Born?
And for some fun, were are the Second Ones? LOL. Or are there only first and last ones? 18.104.22.168 06:23, October 6, 2017 (UTC)
