To the Ends of The Earth is an intended episode from the TV Series Crusade, which is a spin off from Babylon 5. However, due to the cancellation of Crusade early in its first season this episode was never filmed. J. Michael Straczynski released the script to this episode shortly after the cancellation of the series. "To the Ends of the Earth" would have kicked off Crusade's first main story arc.

"Who Are You? Matthew Gideon, Captain. Attached to the Earth Alliance Starship Excalibur. What do you want? To find a cure to the Drakh plague before it wipes out all life on earth. Where Are You Going? Anywhere I Have To. Who do you serve and who do you trust? Who do you serve and who do you trust?"
– Galen Questioning Captain Gideon

SummaryEdit

Gideon's "Apocalypse Box" gives him a lead on the ship that destroyed the Cerberus. Gideon immediately recalls the team that is searching an alien ruin for a cure to the Drakh plague and takes the Excalibur in pursuit of the Shadow hybrid. This odd behaviour is noted by the crew as finding a cure for the Drakh plague is supposed to be their top priority.

Behind the ScenesEdit

  • To the Ends of The Earth was intended to be point at which the crew switches back from the grey uniforms to the black uniforms, with Gideon arranging an "accident" with the ship's laundry.
