Vree are an advanced alien race, a member of the League of Non-Aligned Worlds and later the Interstellar Alliance.

Vree are humanoid beings with large black eyes, big heads, and smooth hairless skin. [2]
According to Ambassador G'Kar, the Vree eating habits are "horrific." [3]
Vree are thought to be one of the most advanced races in the League and are one of the few who use antimatter power plants in their vessels (as opposed to the fusion plants used by other League races).

Vree are a race which look similar to those described in 20th Century Earth abduction stories.[4] They are known to have kidnapped humans and studied them. Court cases have been decided as late as 2258 to descendants of those abducted. Vree spaceships even resemble flying saucers.
The Vree signed onto the Babylon Treaty in 2260 after the Babylon 5 station declared independence from the Earth Alliance. They were involved in the Second Shadow War, their ships proving effective against the Shadow fighters.
